Piso El Campello

Posted 22/2/2021

We have purchased an apartment in El Campello recently. It is a three bedroom flat with a large balcony and only 180 meters from the beach. If it is quiet, you can even hear the sea! The location is very nice, with the pizzeria downstairs (two pizzas for only 8,90 Euro) and all other shops, bars and restaurants in the same street or nearby.

The place will be for hire and if it is not rented out, we will surely make use of it ourselves-

Ik Vertrek

Posted 13/1/2021

Still waiting for licences

Posted 7/1/2021

Dear all,

Why did we not update anything for a long period of time? Our enthusiasm is still the same, we still think it is a great idea to start a holiday park with private owned modular houses, we believe this area is ever so beautiful and even more this period of time (Covid) we are sure that a concept of a quiet, peaceful, out-in-nature campsite with large plots would work! Then why? The only reason is: we are still waiting for the final licences!!!! There were development in the last period of time, but the final go-ahead is not yet here. The study for water management has been sent out already some months a go for final approval (after may meetings). After that licence we only need one more before we can start... No idea when this will happen. Therefore we have not yet started selling the concept.

Ground Work

Posted 21/1/2018

We have started the ground week late last year, meaning a digger is working almost daily to make sure the layout is being created according to the drawings. The highest part is +6,85 and it goes back to 0 level. It is already coming along very nicely. The camperplaces are done, The area where the social club (+5,00) is going to be built is visible and you can see the roundabout. This week the digger will start working on the area of the houses. In the meantime Ton is thinking about the walls he needs to build between the different levels and they may start working on that (if city council allows) next month as well. Because that is a lot of work!

Landscaping

Posted 28/11/2017

After our talks with the city council some weeks ago, we were happy to get the confirmation that the licenses will be approved ultimately... it is just a matter of paperwork at the province of Valencia. We do not know how long that will take, and we do not want to open a holiday park without the proper licenses, however... city council indicated that they do approve to start with the ground work. And that is quite a lot of work, we could make a head start... and so... we decided to start with that part the project! Tomorrow a landscaper (actually two) will be working on the grounds to identify the different levels. That will take one full day. After that (next days) we will start indicating where the plots, social club, houses, buildings and roads etc will be. Ton and Hans believe they can do this in four days. After that (sometime Mid December hopefully) the ground work will start! That will last throught out January. Really, really looking forward to starting with this!!

Official approval Busot

Posted 18/5/2017

We now have official approval from Busot on the request for the license to start this project. After this (and with some more changes due to request of Generalitat Valencia) we have now also officially requested the province for approval of the project. The plan was presented by our architect in the last week of April. And now... we wait...

License

Posted 11/2/2017

We have had another request to investigate more for getting the licence. Besides the road study (which is finalized), we are obliged to have a 'water flood' study. This is now being done. We need to wait a few more weeks for the result. The report will give solutions on how to avoid any problems when we would have a flood (which may occur once every 100 years).  We are alos now awaiting the results from the publication to the public. People were allowed to have objections until February 10th. Our architect will have a meeting with the government soon to check any remarks.

License (carreteras)

Posted 3/1/2017

Unfortunately, the 'carreteras' (road administration) has published an unfavourable report. We will need to issue a traffic study, plans, feasibility report and a proposal to access the terrain. We are trying to contact a specialized engineer who can help us with this challenge.
